Tomorrow is Sunshine's teacher's birthday. I was a little bored and her room parents weren't planning anything, so I thought I would put together a cookbook from all of the kids' families to give her teacher. Cute, easy, fast.
Unfortunately, a few of the parents never got back to me with their recipes. So I stole an idea from Don's Kindergarten class. I went to the school today and asked the kiddos for the recipes of their favorite meals. It was too funny. Some of them were so serious about it. When I was writing them down, one child pointed to my paper and said, "Don't forget the no cheese, okay? I don't eat cheese." If I had had more time, I would have done this for all of the kids. But this way, the teacher will get some great recipes and some great laughs.
Here are some of their recipes and tips:

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! I love the idea of kids "writing" the recipes. Will have to store that one for use someday.
