Yesterday we made log houses...
and today we made fresh rolls and real butter.

and of course, we read a lot of stories and books about pioneers. When Daddy comes home, we're doing a little pioneer trek. Good fun!

I remember making butter with my class every year. They loved it. Trekking to the park? On behalf of the children, I remind you that they already trekked the homestead, Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore.
