Sunshine moved up to the big leagues this week, where she'll stay for the next 90 years. In recognition of this momentous occasion, we celebrated in doubles, pairs and two's.
Celebration #1 was at breakfast.
- double options of breakfast meats
- double berries in the fruit dish
- two options of pancakes - chocolate chip or plain (good job, Donny!)
- double Naked Juice drinks - berry or mango
- double the carnations - pink and white
She's in the 65th percentile for height, but only in the 15th for weight, so she's still tiny enough for her dad to give her a birthday twist in the air.
The kids spent the day at the local science museum, studying physics, atoms, whisper dishes, and more.
Instead of just one session, they did DOUBLE the sessions, from 9 to 12 and 1 to 4.
Celebration #2 was at dinner. Aunti Bekah came over and we had Sunshine's favorite meal - meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and carrots.
After dinner, we played a game of Famous Pairs. Someone would give one-half of a famous double and we would guess the second-half. The funniest one was when Buddy guessed the boyfriend/husband of some My Little Pony that Polly tried to stump us with. It was priceless.
After the games, we had cake that Sunshine's angel mother slaved over for hours to create (or buy). It was had her name on it TWICE and was mixed with DOUBLE the colors - pink and purple to finish off our theme.
The happenings were broadcast live via Skype to Gramma and Papa in Calfornia. Gotta love technology!
