Have I ever mentioned that TLM is obsessed with penguins? Like, genuinely OBSESSED.
A few months ago, he mentioned that he thought the world should spend one day thinking about nothing but penguins. Sure enough, Google helped me find that someone else already had that idea and marked the date in January each year. So last Sunday, we celebrated our 1st Penguin Awareness Day!
Buddy made everyone bow ties to wear with their black and white ensemble. I made fish-centered dishes for each meal and the children were given penguin-shaped bath gels as a gift.
After a day of eating sushi, salmon, tuna and shrimp, we're fished out!
It was quite a day. ;)
